HELP...Ideas to spoil your Mum on Mother's Day

posted in Helga Slater's blog on Tue Feb 12 2008
Calling all Mums....

What would you like to do on Mother's Day and what would be your preferred Present??

Rather than the usual "same old, same old" that Mums normally get lumbered with on Mother's Day (choc's, flowers etc.) I believe that most mums would just love a break from the everyday grind and household chores and do something different, so what is it that MUM's want...

Breakfast in bed?
Dinner with the family?
Meal out followed by a trip to the theatre or cinema?
Luxury spa weekend or some relaxation therapy treatments?
Weekend away?
Activity - helicopter flight, trip in a hot air balloon?
Drive a Porche for the Day? OR
Dinner with George Clooney? (obviously this one!)

We want to know? So tell us how your would like to spend your special day..and we will post your top 10 favourites.

Come on Mum's tell us as you deserve to be spoilt....the way you want to be!

I want the full works.... breakfast in bed, flowers, three course home cooked meal (definitely don't want to be taken out as time with the family is precious) and then to lie on the sofa all afternoon and watch a good film with a box of choccies.....bliss!

I want to get away and leave the kids behind (yes I love them but it's nice to have sometime alone with the hubby) - a long lie in, hot bath without being pestered, be able to sit in the pub all afternoon, eat dinner in piece. The thing is to do this my Mum has to look after the kids..... is this fair!!!!

Breakfast in bed is a definite - as far as a prezzie is concerned - anything my kids went out and bought for me of their own accord would be fab!!! After breakfast I don't mind what I do as long as I don't have to cook, clear-up, wash or tumble-dry.
