Whatever the weather outside, we’ve all got to start thinking about getting ready for the summer season. No more hiding behind baggy tops and oversized jackets. Look and feel your best by following our simple Get Ready for Summer Guide.
1. Eat Healthily – Over the next few weeks we will help you get the most out of summer dining by featuring articles on subjects ranging from barbies and marinades to picnics and cocktails.
2. Drink More Water – Next time you reach for a fizzy, sugary drink think again and have a glass of water instead. Remember your minimum target should be 6-8 glasses a day.
3. Get Exercising - No matter who you are a little extra exercise can only do you good. Try using the stairs at work or at the station, make time for a game of tennis or get your kids involved and walk to school.
4. Sort Out Your Wardrobe – Let’s face it anything you didn’t wear last year, either because it didn’t fit or you hated it, you’re unlikely to wear in 2008. So be brave and chuck it out and make room for something new.
5. Get that Healthy Summer Glow – Either out of a bottle or by spending a little safe time in the sun but whichever way you choose, most people feel better about themselves when they’ve got some colour in their cheeks.
