About Miss Beehive

Hi Folks, Miss Beehive from The Beehive here. I’ve been buzzing around the kitchen but have taken a rest to create two groups on this great website. I’m searching for recipes from Derbyshire and Staffordshire and want to gather together recipes from these two counties to preserve for posterity on MyDish. Old or new, traditional or modified – join in and share your favourite Staffordshire and/or Derbyshire recipes. Do you have a story to tell behind a particular recipe? Do you have a scrumptious starter or a delicious dessert that has been passed down through the generations? Whatever it is this is an invitation to any and all to join one or both of these groups and help build up a gastronomic delight of Staffordshire and Derbyshire Dishes. For starters - I'll be adding a recipe for Staffordshire Oatcakes and from Derbyshire a recipe for Bakewell Pudding...Yum!
