This building is part of the estate Candlebridge. I designed this on pen and paper and with the help of my husband and an architect, this is the south-wing of our home; known as "The Garden Room". My hobbies include architectural drawings, cookery, gardening, travel & languages. I also have great affection for animals, in particular, dogs & horses. When I'm not cooking, you'll find me in the music room! I like to compose classical or easy listening pieces. I am also self-taught in the tin-whistle! One of my favourite pieces is "Lord Inchiquin". The furthest I have travelled is Beijing, China! I've been to the USA, twice! Once on honeymoon and then nine years later, to Boston! After checking out a great little place called "Cheesecake Factory", we drove up and down the East Coast, towards the Amish towns of Lancaster and then further north to Canada! I discovered that I was addicted to pecan pie and my husband was addicted to blueberry cheesecake & pies! We ran around the garden a few times when we came home!! I have also visited England, Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland, France, Spain, Italy, Austria, Monaco, Czechoslovakia, Hungary, Germany, Tunisia, Majorca & The Canary Islands, The Netherlands, Finland & Lapland! Places I want to see are other parts of Scandanavia, Denmark, Switzerland, Thailand, Australia, New Zealand, Alaska and Hawaii, sure why not! I can only begin to imagine what the local cuisine will be like and I remember trying frogs legs in Avignon and thinking, "they're quite tasty!" My husband once tried Ostrich in a fancy Irish restaurant, and said "I'm glad I tried it.." and didn't say anymore! Whoops!
