About me
My inspiration for cooking comes from my grandma who taught my mum great dishes who has then passed them onto me. I love to cook traditional West Indian food and also traditional English dishes such as a roast dinner on a sunday which is a personal favourite. My favourite chefs are Jamie Oliver because he doesn't make cooking too formal and boring and also Heston Blumenthal because he really lit up the cookery world with his weird and wonderful dishes. As for my favourite place to eat you can't beat a good local Chinese restaurant and one I love going to is Golden Lee in East Dulwich. A new restaurant I recently discovered was Wahaca in Canary Wharf which is a Mexican restaurant with a great menu choice and excellent service.
