The Story Behind The Recipe
This recipe always reminds me of holidays in North wales as a child. Going to collect the fresh mussels from the market and then eating them wrapped up in blankets on the cliff edge.
My father's favourite beer is Robinsons and we would always use this.
A few years ago i took my own family back to the holiday house we used to frequent as a child and we made this recipe. My father and my children sat round the campfire and the mussels tasted as good as ever.
