Method

  • 1. In a small frying pan heat the sesame seeds for 2 minutes or until golden brown.

  • 2. Remove seeds and place the pan back on the heat and heat the Patak’s Korma Paste with 2 tablespoons of water.

  • 3. Stir well during cooking, and cook for 2 minutes.

  • 4. Remove from the heat and allow to cool.

  • 5. Mix all the ingredients together.

  • 6. Sprinkle with the toasted sesame seeds.
  • Ingredients

    • FOR THE SALAD
    • 1 Carrot, grated
    • 1 Fennel, grated
    • 50g Celeriac, grated
    • 2 tbsp. Thick low fat yogurt
    • 1 tbsp. Patak’s Korma Paste
    • 1 tbsp. Sesame seeds
    • 1 Juice of lemon
    • 1 tbsp. Fresh coriander. chopped
    • to taste Salt and pepper

    A great alternative to coleslaw, this salad has is perfect to serve up at a summer barbeque. It uses our delicious Korma paste. The sesame seeds give it an extra crunch.
