Method





  • 1. Put the butter and sugar in a large bowl, beat well.

  • 2. Cream the butter and sugar until it's smooth, add vanilla and egg,beat well.

  • 3. Separate bowl whisk the flour,salt and baking powder add the creamed mixture.steering well.

  • 4. Divide the dough in to 2 equal portion.mix coco and cinnamon in to one potion, stir well.

  • 5. Both dough wrap and chill for 2hours.

  • 6. After that in wax paper roll out dough to from a large rectangle [10x8 inc] about 1/4 in thick.repeat this step the uncolored dough.

  • 7. Very carefully slide the brown dough on top of the white dough.

  • 8. Roll dough in a log. refrigerate dough for at least 5 hours.

  • 9. Until very firm.cut in 1/4 inch slice and place on a greased baking tray about an inch apart.

  • 10. Bake at 200 c.for 10-15 minutes.

  • Serve and enjoy.

    • 350g all-pupose flour
    • 200g butter
    • 150g brown sugar
    • 1 tsp. vanilla extract
    • 2 tbsp. cocoa powder
    • 1 large egg
    • 0.5 tsp. cinnamon,ground
    • 0.5 tsp. baking powder
    • 0.25 tsp. salt
