1. heat the oil in a large frying pan until hot. neatly snip the rind on the gammon steaks to stop them curling up & add them to the pan.
2. cook the steaks for 3-4mins on each side, then pour in the cider. allow to boil for a couple of mins, then stir in the cream & cook for 1-2mins, or until thickened. season with salt & pepper, serve immediatly with mustard mash & green vegetables.
