Curry Leaves Rice with Onion Raitha
Method
Ingredients
- FOR RICE:
- 1 cup basmati rice. washed and drained
- water to add as required
- 1 Onion. sliced
- 1 tomato chopped
- 3 tbsp oil
- 1 tsp Mustard seeds
- 1 ½ cups Curry leaves
- 1 tbsp zeera or cumin seeds
- 3 tbsp coconut gratings
- 3 or 4 or to taste dried red chilli
- salt to taste
- ¾ tbsp Corriander Seeds
- a pinch asoefedita powder
- a pinch Turmeric powder
- ONION RAITHA:
- ½ cup yoghurt. plain
- ¼ cup water
- salt to taste
- 1 tbsp Corriander - chopped to garnish
- to taste green chillies. finely chopped (optional)
- 1 small Onion finely chopped/sliced
- ½ Firm Tomato finely chopped(Optinal)

I havean't tryed this yet as I am concerned about the ingreadients for the the onion Rairta, it does not seem to have onion in the ingreadients.
