Method

  • 1. Heat the oil in a pan and add the cumin seeds and diced onions and fry on a medium heat for 3-5 minutes.

  • 2. Add the garlic, Patak's Madras Curry Paste, and cumin powder and fry for a further 2-3 minutes.

  • 3. Add the chopped tomatoes and cook for a further 5-8 mins.

  • 4. Add the chick peas. Cook for a further 5 minutes.

  • 5. Season with the sugar, lemon juice coriander and salt.

    • 2 cans Chick peas
    • 1 cloves Garlic,pured
    • 2 Onion, chopped
    • 0.5 tsp. Cumin seeds
    • 4 tbsp. Patak's Madras Curry Paste
    • 1 can Chopped tomatoes
    • 0.5 tsp. Cumin powder
    • 0.5 tsp. Sugar
    • 2 tbsp. Fresh coriander, chopped
    • 2 tbsp. Vegetable oil
    • 1 tbsp. Lemon juice
