Adventurous Chicken Curry

Ingredients
- 4 Chicken Breasts
- 3 Large Tomatoes Chopped
- 2 Red Onions Chopped
- 1 Tsp Fresh Ginger
- 4 Cardamon Pods
- 1 Tbsp Fennel Seeds
- 1 Tbsp Gara Masala
- 1 Clove Garlic
- 350ml Stock
Method
- 1. Fry the chicken in hot oil for 5 minutes to seal. Remove from pan.
2. In the same oil, sauté onions until golden brown and add the Gara Masala, fennel seeds and ginger powder. Stir well and season with salt.
3. Add tomatoes to the pan. Stir in cloves and cardamoms. Cook for 5 minutes before adding water/ stock. Bring to a boil.
4. Return chicken to the pan and simmer over a gentle flame until tender.
5. Strain the juices and serve with the chicken.

I notice in ingredients you say fresh ginger yet in method you say powder, which should i use?
