Rice Pudding with Strawberries

Method

  • 1. Put the rice and the vanilla pod (with seeds) with the milk and bring it to boil. Decrease the temperature and simmer for 30 minutes (or simply until the rice is cooked). Dissolve the sugar, butter and the nutmeg by stirring it in.

  • 2. Mix the vinegar and caster sugar with the strawberries then leave it to marinate in the fridge for two hours. Serve it with the warm rice pudding.

    • 5g caster sugar
    • 12ml balsamic vinegar
    •  grated nutmeg
    • 12g butter
    • 25g short grain rice
    • 300ml milk
    • 100g strawberries quartered
    • ΒΌ  vanilla pod
