Tomato and Orange Soup

Ingredients

  • 0.5 teaspoon Salt
  • 2 teaspoons Chopped Pasley
  • 10 grinds Black Pepper
  • 100 gm tin Tomato Puree
  • 3 teaspoons Finely grated onion
  • 2 teaspoons Sugar
  • 1 Bayleaf
  • 1.5 pints Vegetable or beef stock
  • 1 small clove Garlic
  • 2 strips Orange Peel
  • 1 teaspoon Fresh Basil Leaves is possible

Method

Combine all soup ingredients except parsley and basil in a pan and cook for 30 minutes. Stir in basil and parsley just before serving. Goes well with kneidlach or dumplings
