1) Sift together flour, baking powder and sugar. Add wheat germ. Combine the milk and oil and stir into the dry ingredients until just moistened.
2) Stir in the cottage cheese until the mixture is slightly lumpy (if you prefer a smoother batter, whiz the cottage cheese with the liquid ingredients in a blender).
3) Drop spoonfulls of batter onto a greased pan. Cook until bubbles appear on the surface, then turn and brown on the other side. You only need to turn them once.
4) Use up all the batter.
5) Serve the pancakes with a dash of maple syrup and some fresh blueberries - Delicious!
