Method

  • Grease a baking tin

  • 1. Heat the sugar, butter and the milk in a sauce pan. Bring to the boil, stiring all the time. Boil for about 30 mins.

  • 2. Drip a little fudge into a bowl of cold water. It will form a soft ball when it is done. Keep boiling and testing until it does this.

  • 3. Take the pan off the heat, add the vanilla and beat the mixture until thick and creamy.

  • 4. You can now add some extra willings if desired. Try Smarties, nuts or, insted of vanilla, add some chocolate.

  • 5. Pour the mixture into the tin and leave it to set. Cut it up into what ever shapes are desired.
  • Ingredients

    • 500g soft brown sugar
    • 60g butter or margerine
    • 275 ml Milk
    • A few Drops of vanilla esscence
