Chocoholate Mousse

Method

  • 1. Break the chocolate in to a bowl. Add the water. Heat some more water in a pot or saucepan until simmering.

  • 2. Satnd the bowl over the pot/saucepan. When the chocolate melts, stir it until smooth, then put it to one side. Do NOT let it set.

  • 3. Separate the egg whites from the yolks. Be carful not to mix the whites and the yolks.

  • 4. Beat the egg yolks until smooth, then slowly stir them into the chcolate.

  • 5. Add a pinch of salt to the egg whites and whisk them until the feel fluffy and look like snow topped mountains.

  • 6. Mix the chocolate with the egg whites. Do not beat the mixture.

  • 7. Carfully pour the mousse into a serving bowl and leave it in the fridge for a few hours until it has set. When it has set, pour some cream ontop and add some grated milk chocolate flakes on top of the cream
