Oven Setting: 220C/435F/Gas mark 7
Grease a baking sheet.
1. Cut up the butter. Put it in a bowl with a pinch of salt and mix it together with a little water and the flour. Mix it until it forms a soft ball that leaves the bowl clean.
2. Roll out the pastry thinly. Cut it into two equal strips.
3. Cut the meat in half and roll it into two sausages as long as the pastry.
4. Brush the sides of the strips with egg. Fold the side with no egg over to the side with the egg. Press the two edges together. The egg will act as a glue.
5. Cut the rolls into peices. Brush them with beaten egg and cut two diagonal slits on top of each one. Put them on a baking sheet.
6. Bake them for 20-25 mins until golden brown.
