1. Put all ingredients except the chocolate chips into a blender and liquidise until smooth.
2. If you have an ice cream maker you can now put the mixture into the ice cream maker. Add chocolate chips during the last 5 minutes of freezing. When it is ready put it in an airtight container and freeze until ready to serve.
If you don't have an ice-cream maker pour the mixture into a shallow pan and stir and re-freeze every few hours until the mixture is firm around the edges and softer in the center, Put it in an airtight container, stir in chocolate chips, cover and freeze until ready to serve.
