Nick's Homemade 100% Beef Burgers

  • These are brilliant on the BBQ and can be cooked from frozen. They do nut use eggs or breadcrumbs so are relatively healthy.

    Ingredients

    • 13lbs Beef Mince from the Butcher
    • 11 White Onion
    • 12 Beef Stock Cube
    • 11 tbsp Ground Black Pepper
    • 12 tbsp Oregano
    • 12 tbsp Thyme
    • 11 tbsp Paprika (optional)

    Method

    • Place the mince in a large mixing bowl. Chop the onions, place in a blender and blitz to a paste. Add to the mince and mix well.

      Mix in the rest of the ingredients until fully combined and you have a large ball of the burger mix.

      Line two baking sheets with parchment paper and use a 3 inch ring to form the burgers. Place a quantity of the meet into the ring and form to shape with the back of a spoon. The burger should be 1 1/2 cms thick.

      Cook over medium heat on the BBQ for 10 minutes on either side. Serve in a sesame seed bab with freshly sliced onion, tomato and lettuce with a good quality BBQ sauce.
