Method

  • 1. Preheat the oven to 200 and fill a 12 bun muffin tray with muffin cases.
  • 2. Weigh and mix together all the dry ingredients in a bowl. ONLY USE 150g OF THE CHOCOLATE CHIPS!
  • 3. Measure and mix all the wet ingredients in a SEPARATE jug.
  • 4. Pour the jug of wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix together well.
  • 5. Spoon the mixture into cases. Sprinkle the remaining chocolate chips onto each soon-to-be muffin.
  • 6. Bake for 20 minutes or until well risen and springy.

  • SERVING: Serve with a nice cuppa!

    • 250g Plain Flour
    • 2 tsp Baking Powder
    • ½ tsp Bicarbonate of Soda
    • 2 tbsp Cocoa Powder
    • 175g Caster Sugar
    • 200g Chocolate Chips (White, Milk or Dark)
    • 250ml Milk (Semi-skimmed or Whole)
    • 90ml Vegetable Oil
    • 1 Large Egg
    • 1tsp Vanilla Essence (or Extract)
