Method

  • 1. Beat the butter in a bowl until it is very soft.
  • 2. Gradually add the sugar; beating well between each addition, until the mixture is very light and fluffy.
  • 3. Beat in the brandy, a spoonful at a time. Transfer to a serving bowl, cover and refrigerate for at least 2-3 hours.
  • 4. Serve dusted with cinnamon, if desired.

    • 125g / 4oz Unsalted Butter Softened
    • 125g / 4oz Soft Brown Sugar (Muscovado) sifted
    • 6 tbsp / 90ml Brandy
    •  Ground Cinnamon
