Cream Of Onion Soup

Ingredients
- 1oz Butter
- 1lb Onions Sliced
- 1 ½pints Water + 1 chicken stock cube
- Salt and Pepper
- 1 Tbsp Plain Flour
- ¼ pint Milk
Method
- Fry the onions in the butter without browning until soft. Add the stock and seasoning. Bring to the boil and simmer for 20 minutes. Blend with a hand blender. In a bowl mix together the flour with the milk. Add this to the soup and bring to the boil stirring all the time. Check seasoning and serve.
