    Ingredients

    • ¼ pound Butter
    • ¼ pound White sugar
    • 2 Well-beaten eggs
    • 6 onz. Self raising flour
    • ½ tsp Baking powder

    Method

    • Beat the butter to a cream, then add the eggs and flour. Just before baking, stir in the baking powder. Bake for about half an hour (though do take longer if needed).
      Serve with honey or syrup and custard!
