" A quick and easy lunch box alternative to sandwiches, perfect for my 3 boys as healthy and one of their favourites. "
1. Mix the tuna with the coldslaw and finely chopped red peppers. You shouldn't need to add any mayo as the coldslaw should suffice and be moist enough.
2. Place the tortilla wrap on plate and top with the tuna mixture in a line down the middle of the wrap.
3. Fold one half of the wrap, then fold the other half. Cut in the middle, and it's ready to serve!
I sometime add additonal vegetables such as sliced cucumber and/or shredded lettuce as additonal towards their 5 aday - not sure if they actually eat it though!!!

I think it’s really important for kids to have a balanced diet. I encourage my boys to eat well and will often get them to make their own packed lunched to take to school. For something a little different, they like to make their own wraps instead of sandwiches. A favourite of theirs are Tuna Wraps and Coleslaw. It’s great for the boys to be able to make their own lunches as it encourages them to spend more time in the kitchen. If I’m cooking they’ll often come into the kitchen to help out. It’s great to see, especially and now they are starting to try more and more new foods. I think they are the envy of some of their friends at school because they always have something different in their lunchbox! Although, the Tuna Wraps remain a firm favourite!
