Ingredients
- 1 ½ cup basmati rice
- 1 tsp. salt
- 4 green cardamoms
- 4 cloves garlic
- 4 cinnamon
- 4 bay leaves
- 1 ½ cup black Urad Dal washed and soaked overnight in water
- 1 ¼ tsp. salt
- ¼ tsp. baking soda
- ½ cup butter
- 2 tbsp. ginger-garlic paste
- 1 tsp. turmeric powder
- ½ tsp. red chili powder
- ½ cup low-fat plain yogurt whisked
- 2 tomatoes peeled and chopped
- 1 green chilies chopped

- 5-6 tbsp. coriander leaves chopped
- 2 green chilies slit
- 1 large mato peeled and sliced
- 3 large onions peeled and thinly sliced and fried in oil
- 1 tsp. garam masala powder
