1.Warm the milk and mix with half of the sugar and the yeast, let the mixture cure for a while in a warm place.
2.Mix flour, salt and spices in a bowl, add butter and the rest of the sugar - stir until you have a good mixture, then add the mil-yeast-mixture and the eggs, beating all with some enthusiasm to a creamy consistence.Add all other ingredients and mix well.
3.Pour the mixture into a greased baking form lined with greased paper, cover with a towel and let the dough rise to about double height in a warm place.

I love this cake! So glad you posted recipe. Would be at a loss to spell it, in order, to find it otherwise!
