  • One of our favorite dessert. It's fun to make it and fun to eat it!

  • Ingredients

    • 4 Granny Smith apples
    • 4 wooden sticks
    • 12 oz caramels
    • 30 ml water
    • 1 tsp. vanilla extract
    • 50g mini marshmallows
    • 120g chopped pecans toasted
    • 120g chocolate chips

    Method

    • 1.Push wooden sticks 3/4 of the way into the apple. Place apples on a cookie sheet covered with lightly greased aluminum foil.
2.Combine caramels and water in a saucepan over low heat. Cook, stirring often, until caramel melts and is smooth. Stir in the vanilla.
3.Dip each apple into the caramel and gently run apples around insides of saucepan to scrape off some of the caramel.
4.Combine the miniature marshmallows and pecans on a dinner plate. Roll the apples in the mixture to coat. Place on the aluminum foil and chill.
      5. Cook the chocolate chips in the microwave for 30 second until melted and smooth. Drizzle over the apples and return them to the refrigerator until ready to serve.
