Profiteroles in Hot Chocolate Sauce

Method

  • Firstly heat the over to 200°C or 400°F (Gas Mark 6). Grease some baking trays.

  • Place walnut sized pieces of pastry out on baking trays.

  • Bake for 20-25 minutes until well risen and firm. Slit sides to let steam escape. Cool.

  • Fill choux with cream

  • Then make the sauce. Mix chocolate, sugar and water and stir over low heat until smooth. Stir in butter and then remove from heat and add rum.

  • Pour sauce over buns and serve immediately
