Method

  • Make pastry with marg and flour(or buy ready made!)
  • Chop onion into small pieces and fry till softened in a little oil--cool.
  • Beat eggs together, then add chopped parsley, cream cheese and salt and pepper.
  • Beat till smooth.
  • Add fried onion,crumbled stilton and well chopped walnuts.
  • Grease or line 9" flan dish(fairly deep one)
  • Roll out pastry and line dish, add filling then pastry lid, sealing with a little water.
  • Decorate with trimmings of pastry in shapes to suit occasion!
  • Brush with a little more beaten egg for a glaze.
  • Bake for 45 mins 190C.
  • Eat hot of cold and swoooon!!

    • 12oz Plain Flour
    • 6oz Margarine
    •  Filling
    • 2 Eggs
    • 12oz Cream Cheese
    • small bunch Parsley
    • 6oz Stilton Cheese
    • 6oz Walnuts
    • 1 Small onion
    • Pinch Salt and Pepper
