Method

  • 1. Put the bacon and veg in a large pan.

  • 2. Add enough stock to cover the meat and season to taste.

  • 3. Bring to boil over medium heat, then leave to simmer for 2 hours.

  • 4. Remove the bacon and cut it into peices.

  • 5. Return to pan just to re-heat.

  • 6. Sprinkle with chopped parsley.

    • Small Shank of bacon
    • 225g Potatoes
    • 225g Swede
    • 225g Carrots
    • 225g Leeks
    • 225g Onion
    • 225g turnip
    • To taste Salt and pepper
    • To taste Stock
    • To taste Choped Parsley
