Method

  • 1. Finely dice onion, pepper and celery.

  • 2. Heat 1tbsp olive oil in pan and add vegetables. Cook gently until soft, will take approx 8 - 9 mins. Whilst cooking add approx 1tbsp ketchup and 1tsp Basil.

  • 3. Add the cooked vegetables to the raw mince, mix thoroughly until mixture sticks together.

  • 4. Roll into burger shapes, will make approx 6 patties.

  • 5. Heat 1tbsp oil in frying pan and cook burgers on both sides, until cooked all the way through, will take approx 15 minutes.

  • 6. Serve on burger muffins with a slice of cheese, burger relish and lettuce.

    • ½ Onion
    • 1 Red pepper
    • 2 sticks Celery
    •  Tomato Ketchup
    •  Dried Basil
    •  Salt & Pepper
    •  Olive Oil
