Jacquie's Sesame and Parmesan Roast Potatoes

Method

  • Preheat oven to 190C/Gas 5.

  • Peel potatoes and cut into equal pieces. Make lots of cuts into potato surfaces. Heat fat or oil in a non-stick tin, then add potatoes, flat side down. Sprinkle with salt.

  • Bake for 1 hour 20 mins, basting occasionally. Sprinkle over the sesame seeds and Parmesan and return to the oven for 10 minutes.
  • Ingredients

    • 1.8 kg King Edward potatoes (or similar)
    • 4 tbs Goose fat (or oil)
    • 3 tbs Sesame seeds
    • 3 tbs Parmesan grated
