Method

  • Crush biscuits into small crumbs.

  • Melt butter and add biscuit crumbs to it.
  • Press this into base and side of 9 inch cake tin. (i use a quiche dish).
  • Place in fridge to chill and set.

  • Whisk together double cream, condensed milk and juice and zest of limes.
  • Spoon over biscuit base and put back into fridge for couple of hours to set.

  • Decorate with dark chocolate drizzled over top.

    • Really glad you enjoyed this recipe. It is really, really easy to make and i particularly like the ginger biscuit base instead of traditional pastry.

    • This was really easy to make & came out really well. It had a fab lime taste but not too tart. My friends liked it soo much they wanted the recipe as they said it was better than the recipe they had.

    • 5 limes
    • 450 ml double cream
    •  dark chocolate for drizzling over top

    Easiest dessert to make...no cooking.
