Method

  • ) melt the butter in a saucepan then add the onion, potoates. cover this and cook on a very low heat until onions are transparent
  • 2) drain the sweetcorn, but retain some liquid from the tin and add to the saucepan. then stir in the cornflour
  • 3) add the water, vegetable cubes and stir well and simmer until cooked
  • 4) liquidise and season to taste
  • 5) when ready to serve, heat it. add the cream on top and a little chopped parsley. serve with croutons

    • STUFF TO GET
    • 17g butter
    • 1 ½ cans sweetcorn
    • ½ chopped onion
    • ½tbsp cornflour
    • 1 large chopped potato
    • 1 ½ veggie stock cube
    • 2pints water
    • 75ml single cream (optional)
    •  salt & pepper
