Method

  • 1. Melt the butter or marg in a frying pan

  • 2. Fry the onions and celery until beginning to brown.

  • 3. Add all the remaining ingredients and allow to cook at low temperature for 15 to 20 mins.

  • 4. This recipe will make approxomately 400 ml of sauce.

  • TIP:
  • For best results make the sauce the night before your BBQ and alow the meat to marinade overnight in the sauce, this can be done in a large flat based bish, either in the firdge our out.
  • Ingredients

    • 3 tblsp Onion (Chopped)
    • 2 tblsp Butter or Marg
    • 2 tblsp Sugar
    • 2 tblsp Vinegar
    • 1 tblsp Worcester Sauce
    • 1 tblsp Lemon Juice
    • 5 teaspoons Tomatoe Sauce
    • 8 tblsp Celery (Chopped)
    • To Taste Salt and Pepper
