Warm milk and pour over sliced swiss roll in 11/2 pt pie dish.Soak 1/2 hour,then stir in egg yolks,sugar and lemon juice.Bake in oven 170 gas 6 for 40 mins,spread with warmed jamand top with merringue.
For the merringue,whisk whites stiffly,fold in the sugarand pile on top of the jam.Return to oven and bake for 15mins or until merringue is set.Enjoy!!!
