Method

  • Peel and slice baking apples stew with 2ozs sugar.
  • Transfer to pie dish.
  • Meanwhile rub margarine and flour to make breadcrumbs
  • Stir in sugar and pile on top of apples
  • Bake at 160 gas 5 for 30 mins.
  • Delicious served with homemade custard.
  • Yummy!!
  • Tips

    • You can use a variety of fruits for the crumble plums, rhubarb or to be really lazy ues prepared pie filling.

    • FILLING
    • 6oz self raising flour
    • 4oz margarine
    • 2oz sugar
    • 3 to 4 cooked apples
