Method

  • 1.Boil potatoes and steam peas.
  • 2.In a separate saucepan warm a quart of heavy cream and melt the butter into it.
  • 3.Add the crushed garlic and basil to sauce and flour to thicken.
  • 4.Mix sauce in with potatoes and mash. Stir in peas and serve.

    • 1 kg potatoes
    • 500g peas
    • quart of heavy cream
    • ½ cup butter
    • 1 tsp. crushed garlic
    • 1 tsp. basil
    • --- flour
