Method

  • 1. mix together all the ingrediants in a bowl. toss well
  • 2. heat the oil in a deep frying pan and deep fry the marinated bhindi untill crisp.
  • 3. drain on absorbent paper.
  • 4. serve hot

  • hints- these have to be fried almost immediately after you mix them as otherwise they will not be crisp as the bhindi will release water, making them soggy.
  • for the garnish you can use chopped red capsicum and corriander to enhance the taste and look.

    Ingredients

    • 2 cups- each one slit into 4 lengthwise bhindi [ lady fingers]
    • 2 tbsp gram flour
    • ½ tsp turmeric powder
    • 1 tsp chillie powder
    • 2tsp chaat masala
    • 1 tsp lemon juice
    • to taste salt
    • for deep frying oil
