Method

  • 1. Prehaet the ven to 190C/375F. Line a baking tray.

  • 2. Mix the sour cherry and sugar.

  • 3. lay out a sheet of filo, spray with vegetable oil and lay a second sheet on top.Repeat with a third sheet.

  • 4. Spread over half of the cherry and roll up lengthways, tucking in the ends to enclose the filling. Repeat to make a second strudel.

  • 5. Slide onto the baking sheet, spray with oil and bake for 15-20 minutes.

  • 6. Dust with icing sugar and serve with vanilla ic cream.

    • 1 jar 500 ml Sour Cherry
    • 1 tbsp. Caster sugar
    • 6 Filo pastry sheets
    • 1 tbsp. Icing sugar
    •  Vegetable oil spray
