Method

  • 1. Peel the pears and remove core - cut in half
  • 2. Cream the Roquefort cheese with butter to the consistency of whipped cream
  • 3. Whisk the cream into the cream cheese till the mixture will pour
  • 4. Place each pear (2 halves) on a large lettuce leaf - coat with cream cheese dressing and sprinkle some paprika on top
  • 5. Serve very cold

    • 4 Dessert Pears
    • 60g or 2oz Roquefort Cheese
    • 1oz Butter
    • 3-4 Tbsp Cream Cheese
    • 2 Tbsp Single Cream
    • 4 Large Lettuce Leaves
    • Sprinkle Paprika
