Cheddar and Walnut Muffins

Method

  • 1. Preheat oven to 180°C.

  • 2. Mix baking powder, walnuts, salt + pepper and flour. Stir in egg and butter.

  • 3. Add milk gradually until sticky dough.

  • 4. Fill the tray, lined optionally with muffin cases, with the dough.

  • 5. Bake for 20-25 minutes reducing heat towards the end if muffins are getting too brown.

  • 6. Then, remove them from the tray and let them cool downon a wire rack.

    • 75g melted butter
    • 1 egg
    • 1 ½ cup milk
    • 200g gratted cheedar
    • 100g walnut
    • 2 cups flour
    • 2 tsp baking powder
    •  salt and pepper
