Combine the above ingredients in a pot. Heat slowly to the boiling point over a low heat. Let simmer for 10 minutes so the cider absorbs the spicy flavours. Serve in small mugs or tea-glasses.

Kopperberg brand do some interesting ciders with an apple base and other fruits such as winter berries which would work really well with this recipe

But where on earth can you find real apple cider at in the UK? I've looked everywhere....boo hoo!
I do love hot apple cider, though...or cold apple cider for that matter!
