Method

  • 1) Combine fruits and nuts or finely chop or grind in the food processor.
  • 2) Add the wine, pomegranate juice and vinegar to make a paste. Blend in spices
  • 3) Store in a glass container in the refrigerator until required – up to 1 day.
  • Ingredients

    • 25 dates. pitted and chopped
    • 100g pistachio nuts
    • 50g whole blanched almonds
    • 50g raisins
    • 2 Apples. peeled and grated
    • 1 pomegranate. juice only
    • 1 orange. peeled and finely chopped
    • 1 banana. sliced
    • 100ml kidush wine or tother sweet red wine
    • 3 tbspns cider vinegar
    • 1 tspn Black pepper
    • 1 teaspoon ground cardamom
    • 1 teaspoon Ground Cinnamon
