Fricadelles (meatballs) in Cabbage Leaves
Method
Blend half the Mushroom soup powder with Beef stock.
Brown meat in heated cooking oil
Add remeining ingedients (except Cabbage and Half the soup mixture)
Allow to cool
Spoon meat mixture into blanched cabbage leaves
Roll and secure with tooth/cocktail Sticks
Place in a saucepan
Heat the rest of the mushroon soup mixture pour over the cabbage rolls and simmer for 20 to 30 minutes or until cooked.
Serve with rice and small boiled new potatoes.
Ingredients
- 500gms Mince
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 12gms Flour
- 2 Eggs (beaten)
- 16 + Cabbage Leaves
- 1 Beef Cube - dissolved in 500ml boiling water
- 1 tablespoon Oil
- ½ teaspoon Ground black pepper
- 60 gms Fresh bread crumbs
- 2 tablespoons Chopped fresh Parsley
- 1 packet Mushroom soup
