2.Fold in the flour, egg, vanilla essence and the chocolate chips.
3. Split the 1/2 vanilla pod in half again and run a sharp knife along the inside of both 1/4's and but the seeds into the mixture and fold well.
4.Put small dollops onto a greased baking tray and oput in a moderate oven for 15-20 minutes at 180 degrees celcius.
Tips
If u use granulated or white sugar it makes them crunchy but i prefer cookies soft so i use brown sugar. one cooked you can half dip then in melted chocolate or even ice them mmmm

just 1 hen egg but maybe a little less flour and i just like the flavour better its the secret that my auntie cant get

Interesting that you use duck eggs. What difference does that made, do you reckon?
If I used hen eggs, how many would I need instead of 1 duck egg?
