Method

  • 1.Mix dry ingredients in a large bowl.
  • 2.In a separate bowl mix wet ingredients.
  • 3.Add wet mix to dry mix and stir together real well. Using your hands is the easiest. Batter will be quite stiff, and somewhat oily.
  • 4.Make balls and then form them into cylinders. They should be maybe 1.5 inches / 4 cm in diameter and maybe 1/2 inch / 13 mm thick.
  • 5.Bake at 350F/180C for 12-14 minutes.

    • 2 cups unbleached white flour
    • 2 tsp. baking soda
    • ½ tsp. sea salt
    • 5 tbsp. cocoa powder
    • ½ tsp. cinammon
    • ¾ cup semi sweet chips
    • 1/3 cup water
    • ¾ cup sugar
    • ¼ cup brown rice syrup
    • 1 tsp. vanilla extract
