Pork Meat Balls In Tomatoe Sauce

Method

  • meat balls:

  • place all the meatball ingredients in a bowl and mix well

  • shape into small ball

  • place on oven tray and cook in a pre heated oven 200c, gas mark 5 for about 10 minutes while you make the sauce

  • suace:

  • chop finely the onion and garlic

  • heat the oil and add the onions and garlic and cook for about 5 minutes

  • add the passata, herbs and cook for a futher 5 minutes

  • then add the meatballs and cook for at least 20 minutes



  • Tips

    • try serving with spagetti, cous cous salad or garlic bread

      grate some parmensan cheese over the top!

      impress your friends and enjoy a cheap tasty and nutritious meal

    Ingredients

    • MEATBALLS:
    •  500g pork mince or mince beef
    •  2 tbsp grated parmesan cheese
    •  1 teaspoon Italian herbs
    •  2 tbsp breadcrumbs
    •  salt and balck pepper to taste
    • SAUCE:
    •  1 onion finely chopped
    •  3 cloves of garlic crushed
    •  1 tbsp olive oil
    •  1 tsp Italian herbs
    •  700g passata or chopped tomatoes
