Method

  • 1. Set oven to 375f/190c or gas mark 5
  • 2. Mix all the ingredients but the cherries together.
  • 3. Form walnut sized balls out of the mixture and put them on a baking tray. Put half a cherry on top of each biscuit and sprinkle with castor sugar
  • 4. bake for about 15 mins until lightly browned.
  • 5. Cool on a wire rack.
  • Ingredients

    • 3oz butter or margarine
    • 3 oz caster sugar
    • 1 lemon grated lemon rind
    • 1 tspn lemon juice
    • 6oz self raising flour
    • ΒΌ tspn salt
    • 4 tbspns Evapourated milk
    • 10 glace cherries. halved
    • 1 oz caster sugar
