Method
1. Set oven to 375f/190c or gas mark 5
2. Mix all the ingredients but the cherries together.
3. Form walnut sized balls out of the mixture and put them on a baking tray. Put half a cherry on top of each biscuit and sprinkle with castor sugar
4. bake for about 15 mins until lightly browned.
5. Cool on a wire rack.

- 3oz butter or margarine
- 3 oz caster sugar
- 1 lemon grated lemon rind
- 1 tspn lemon juice
- 6oz self raising flour
- ΒΌ tspn salt
- 4 tbspns Evapourated milk
- 10 glace cherries. halved
- 1 oz caster sugar
